School Dinners
At Millennium, we ask our parents and children to commit to either having packed lunch or school dinner termly.
What’s for School Dinner?
How to pay?
All children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are entitled to Free School Meals under the Universal School Meals scheme. All Key Stage 2 children in state-funded primary schools will continue to get free school meals for the next four years. The Mayor of London has extended the funding to help build a better and fairer London for everyone. This is great news for all our children as school dinners are completely free for everyone!
Special Dietary Needs
If your child requires a medical diet due to a food allergy, food intolerance or a medical condition that requires an adapted menu (e.g. carbohydrate count for Type 1Diabetes), please contact the school office.
Packed Lunch
Packed lunches must be are healthy, inline with the NHS guidelines. If the children do not eat all of the lunch provided, it is left in the child's packed lunch so that parents/carers are aware at home what has been eaten.
We are a Nut Free school, this means no chocolate spreads or nut based products can be including in packed lunches.
