Wellbeing
Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing is so important for the emotional, social and physical development of your child.
Now more than ever, during this period of ‘new normal’ and changes to their learning, your child may be experiencing anxiety, changes in their behaviour and attitudes towards learning, normal tasks and routines.
Likewise, you as a parent may also feel pressured to ensure that your child undertakes significant learning at home, or perhaps even anxious or worried that your child may have regressed educationally. With that being said, we’d like to reiterate that there is no need to worry. Millennium Primary School employs educational experts who will continue to work hard to meet your child’s needs in the classrooms and at home.
One of the most important things you can do to ensure that your child remains happy and keen to learn, is to promote positive feelings and emotions at home. Please browse the following resources for tips and tricks on well-being support:

From the beginning of the autumn term 2020, the DfE expects all pupils, in all year groups, to return to school full-time. It is vital for all children to return to school for their educational progress, for their wellbeing and for their wider development. Please view the resources below for more information.
