Year 6 Tudor Banquet
Year 6 celebrated their fantastic knowledge of the Tudors at their own Tudor Banquet. At the end of January, all the children in Year 6 attended a banquet at Charlton House, dressed to impress as their favourite Tudors. The children worked tirelessly throughout the past few months to become Tudor experts, produce a range of artefacts and artwork, as well as design and make their costumes. All the children and teachers involved really appreciate the time and effort it took to prepare for this banquet. We especially loved the costumes the parents turned up in!
As promised, two Year 6 children and one adult won the best costume. Our winners were:
Connor from Escher class, who designed and made his costume with the help of some family members.
Xena from Kahlo class, who also designed her costume with the help of her mum.
Mr. Volponi, Alex’s dad, who sported a fur coat with a traditional Tudor hat.
A great big thank you to everyone who came along and made the night such a tremendous success!
