Year 2's Fire Extravaganza!
On Thursday 24th November 2016, Year 2 invited parents in for a Fire Extravaganza! We became designers and made models of Tudor houses out of boxes and sugar paper. Have a look at some of the photos to see how they came out... Here comes the fun bit... We took our models outside to the playground… lined them up…. and set FIRE to them, just like The Great Fire of London in 1666! We watched and waited for them to be completely destroyed until all that was left was a pile of ash. It was a fantastic morning, so a special thank you to the parents of Year 2 who helped make the event such a success by volunteering their time.
