- Physical development
- Communication skills
- Understanding of the world
- Creative, personal
- Social and emotional development
- Maths
- Literacy
All activities offered to the children provide a balance between teacher led learning and child centred play. We have open plan classrooms and large outdoor spaces. These allow children to develop within a calm, safe and secure environment.
We have a variety of experienced staff who are qualified teachers specialising in Early Years Development, nursery nurses, early years practitioners and additional teaching assistants who all work together to ensure there is a range of educational activities that are fun, creative and engaging for all children. As a Forest School we also offer an excellent outdoor and woodland education to all nursery children.
In addition, we have a trained ELSA member of staff (English, language, support assistant) who is on hand to support the children’s wellbeing and social skills. We also have a strong Senior Leadership Team who are highly trained to disseminate national mental health and wellbeing programmes.
Being part of a school allows our nursery children to participate in whole school events such as anti-bullying workshops, reading mornings, educational conferences, and so much more. The children also have access to the large school playground and hall for PE lessons and access to a range of resource rooms such as a music studio, sensory rooms, sensory circuit room, reading hubs, school library, allotment area, cooking area and art area.

My daughter had a fantastic time at Millennium's nursery. The environment was perfect, with a great outside space and colourful, exciting classroom. The staff were excellent, so lovely with the children and helpful for parents. The reading mornings, the activity days and Christmas show, (which now all seem an age ago), were really appreciated. She had fun everyday and was really well prepared for school."- Parent Review
Teachers always showed competence in dealing with conflicts between the children, and were gently encouraging my child to develop new skills, which was never stressful for him. Overall our Millennium Nursery experience can be ranked with a top mark, thank you! - Parent Review
