How are we doing?

Achievement & Attainment

Millennium has experienced rapid and sustained progress over the past four years. We have gone from attaining significantly below the national average in 2012 to attaining significantly above the national average in 2016.

In fact, the progress that our children made in 2016 was exceptional. Progress between KS1 and K2 was in the top 3% nationally for Reading, the top 1% nationally for Writing and the top 1% nationally for Maths. When compared to other schools with similar prior attainment Millennium's KS2 results came 2nd out of 125 schools. It is an exciting time to have your children at Millennium.

Every year the DFE publish data. One piece of data that they publish is where they compare us to the schools that had the closest results to us when our children left KS. They then track these children and then at the end of KS2 they compare how we did to those other 124 other schools.

In 2012 Millennium was 110th out of 125

In 2014 Millennium was 10th out of 125

In 2016 Millennium was 2nd out of 125
