Geoff has children in Years 2 and 6. He is the Global Head of Content Management for Thomason Reuters. He has previously served on the board of a New York non-profit that was seeking to professionalise their team.

Maria works for the Royal Borough of Greenwich, most recently in the Environment Division. She has worked in a wide range of services over her eighteen years with RBG: Organisational Development, HR, ICT, Modernisation, and Corporate Client-side Management (of RBG's wholly-owned direct service organisations). She prides herself in being a generalist: flexible, adaptable and practical. When her son was small she started volunteering in his primary school. This soon led to becoming a parent governor, then to vice-chair and finally Chair of that same large primary school in Lewisham. Then the GCSE’s hit and she took a break from governing for a while. She joined Millennium as an LA governor in March 2014 and was immediately struck by the strength and dedication of the management, staff and governors here. She finds the children are polite, eager to learn and wonderfully creative – just look at those wall displays. She is on both the Resources and T&L committees and has recently taken on the role of EYFS Governor.

Qualifying as a teacher in 1995, Joanna has been teaching for twenty years. She has spent her whole teaching career working in very diverse inner-city schools, initially in Manchester, then moving to London in 1998 where she first taught at St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Greenwich. In 2000 she spent time working in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she enjoyed the experience of teaching in a different country. Upon her return to London, Joanna was quickly appointed KS2 Phase Leader at Sherington Primary School, Charlton. In this role alongside her role as Year 6 Class Teacher, she was responsible for a dramatic and sustained increase in their KS2 SATs results.  In 2005 Joanna was appointed as Deputy Head at Foxfield Primary School, Woolwich and led on whole school Curriculum Design, Teaching and Learning and Assessment. During this time she was also Acting Head for 18 months and acquired her National Professional Qualification of Headship from the Institute of Education. In 2013 Joanna became the Head of School at Millennium Primary School and is now Headteacher.

Paul has been Millennium’s Facilities Manager for 8 years, previously working at Balfour Beatty as a construction manager with a total of 34 years building experience. Paul has extensive knowledge of building and health & safety regulations and ensuring value for money in contracts.

Beth was a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Millennium for many years before doing her teacher training at Brooklands Primary School. She is now a Reception teacher at Millennium.

Neil is Head of Planning with Knight Dragon and is heavily involved in the regeneration of Greenwich Peninsula and ensuring the success of the entire area. He has also been Planning Manager for the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has worked in both the public and private sectors and worked on high profile and complex major projects of national significance and have extensive experience dealing with a range of stakeholders at various levels.

Colin is a Chartered Building Surveyor and freelance construction project manager. He recently left the Royal Borough of Greenwich after many years’ service where his role as Design and Projects Group Manager included the management of twelve professional technical staff. His work included the construction and refurbishment or repair of corporate properties and in particular primary and secondary schools.  He has worked closely with school leadership teams and has extensive knowledge of the operational issues affecting school buildings and has an excellent understanding of health & safety, HR and dealing with stakeholders at all levels

Nuala brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board. From project management at Canary Wharf in the early '90s, Nuala first began at Millennium as an LSA. In order to further her career, Nuala has successfully completed many professional courses and was awarded her Certificate of School Business Management (CSBM) in 2012 and her Diploma (DSBM) in the following year. Nuala's background experience in marketing, sales strategies and finance management means that she is in a position to offer much-valued input and advice to the board. Formerly a Support Staff governor, Nuala now sits on the board as an associate governor.

Tiffany is now a Member and Chair of Trustees of Maritime Academy Trust.

She is a National Leader of Governance and an Expert for The Key for School Governors. She is now Senior Governance Advisor for REAch2 Academy Trust, the largest primary trust in the country. Previously she worked at The Whitehall & Industry Group on leadership development for senior leaders across business and government. Her focus was on Organisational Raids, taking an organisation from one sector into an organisation from a different sector to learn about their approaches to shared issues (including strategic planning, stakeholder and employee engagement, change management, innovation, project management, human resources, brand management and more). Tiffany has lived on Greenwich Peninsula since 2007 and is extensively involved in the local community, is Chair of the GMVA residents’ association and a member of the Peninsula Forum. She was previously Chair of Governors at Millennium, leading the board to an outstanding Ofsted. Tiffany has undertaken extensive training for various governance areas including Chair, Pupil Premium, safeguarding, Ofsted, and school finance, and external reviews of governance. She was made a Fellow of The RSA for her efforts in education and community activism. She is also currently a governor at Greenacres Primary School.

Nick was a teacher for many years before becoming Assistant, then Deputy then Head of School at Heronsgate Primary School. He became Head of School then Headteacher at Brooklands Primary School in Blackheath in 2011, and then became Executive Head of Millennium and Brooklands in 2013 and then Timbercroft in Plumstead in 2014. He serves as a governor at Millennium (since January 2013), Brooklands and Timbercroft. After bringing Millennium to Outstanding in less than two years, Nick is now a National Leader of Education. He is a massive Arsenal fan and raises his three children as gooners. He is now CEO of Maritime Academy Trust and a Trustee.

Ben has been a resident of GMV for 12 years and is heavily involved in the Greenwich Peninsula community. Previously working in recruitment and insurance, he now runs the Millennium Minis day nursery and plays an active role in the GMVA residents’ association. Tracey has been teaching for over thirty years. Tracey also lends her masterful green thumb to Millennium’s Gardening Club and is the School Travel Co-ordinator.

Matt has lived and worked around the Greenwich area for over 15 years. He has a daughter in year 2. His West Greenwich dental practice has gained accreditations for high levels of practice. He manages a team of employees and handles all decisions regarding the business. He is experienced with managing policies and procedures, health and safety, safeguarding and planning finances within the practice.

Terry has worked in Children’s Services Finance for more than 17 years. His current role is Children’s Services Finance Manager for Royal Borough of Greenwich, managing a team of 14 people. His portfolio includes:

School funding and accounting requirements, including finance training for schools and governing bodies; funding arrangement for children’s social care provision, special educational needs and education support services.

He has served on various governing bodies for more than 10 years, and has developed a wide range of skills and experience, including:

Setting, monitoring and managing school budgets

Ensuring best value and tendering procedures

Compliance with school accounting requirements

Supporting and challenging schools through the analysis of data and evidence, including how to measure and monitor the progress and attainment of pupils.

As well as Millennium, Terry serves on the governing body of Plumstead Manor Secondary School.

Terry is now the Finance Director and Trustee of Maritime Academy Trust.

Aidan Smith has lived in Greenwich since 2009 and has been a governor at Millennium since 2011. He has served as a councillor since 2014, is currently Chair of the Highways Committee at the council and a trustee of the Twinkle Park Trust in Deptford. He is also a member of the Greenwich Society and the East Greenwich Residents Assocation. His experience in his political and professional life includes: knowledge of the local/regional economy; financial planning and management; line management; staff recruitment; experience of being performance managed/appraised himself; performance management/appraisal of others; ability to question and challenge; ability to analyse data; communication skills; understanding of current education policy; problem solving skills and the ability to analyse and review complex issues objectively.

Born and raised in Canada but enjoying dual citizenship with the UK, George is a public international lawyer currently teaching at universities throughout GB while pursuing his PhD in International Law. His previous experience has included film production and television direction, as well as extensive experience in investigations and protection services for private security contractors. He has also worked alongside some of Canada’s top criminal defence barristers and has been involved in fraud investigations and litigation. George’s technical skills include cybersecurity research, investigation and consultancy. When away from his professional capacities, George enjoys live music (jazz, classical) and volunteering his knowledge and expertise to the Sentinal Project for Genocide Prevention and the World Youth Organization charities. George also consults with regard to the future of public broadcasting in Canada. When away from London, he spends his down time with his family who live throughout Scotland.
